Anyway, here is another way to use up your summer squash. Chop them up into sticks, cover them in an egg/flour batter, coat with breadcrumbs, and bake them. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can season them with a bit of salt and they are a great substitute for traditional French fries. I found dipping them into a little bit of pure honey to be very tasty. But you can play around with different sauces or just leave them plain.
