I wanted a peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast this morning. However, the bananas I have are starting to get overripe so I was worried that they would just smoosh as soon as I put them in the sandwich. Then I thought, well what’s wrong with that? My smooshy bananas weren't gonna work with my go-to PB & B sandwich...but what if I tried something else instead? Keep reading. |
So today I thought, why not mash them all up together and make a peanut-butter, banana, honey spread? I’m sure I’m not the first person to ever have done such a thing, but it was definitely the first time I tried. I added in some cinnamon and nutmeg for extra flavor and rolled them all up into a homemade whole wheat tortilla wrap. Speaking of the tortilla wraps, I thought I had some in the fridge already, but realized I ran out. So I had to quickly whip up another batch of them. Luckily, they don’t take too long to make and I wasn’t super starving for my breakfast yet.
In the end, I came up with a pretty satisfying breakfast. Check it out below.
