Yesterday I wrote about making my own hummus. If you missed it, check out the post HERE. Here’s one way of using up some of that hummus – in a tasty vegetable and hummus wrap. It’s perfect for anyone who doesn’t eat a lot (or any) meat. Of course, you could modify it if you do eat meat, by adding in some grilled chicken. Then again, hummus is already loaded with protein thanks to the chickpeas, so adding in extra meat is probably not even necessary.
Oh wait… I did NOT grow the walnuts. Darn it. So close. Well, the walnuts are organic, so I guess that’s something. Although, truth be told, there’s so much “organic” sprouting up in stores these days, I don’t know if we can ever be truly trustful of everything that has the organic label on them. The only way to truly trust the food you eat is if you just grow it or make it yourself.
